The dictionary is created through a wiki, which means that every user of the site can edit and add new terms. The wiki pretty much follows standard procedures for this kind of software. Veterans and newbies can get a first idea of how this one works by looking at HowToUseWiki.
However some important points:
- If you want to create and edit pages, please follow our StyleGuide
- To edit pages you need to be logged in as a forum user
- Some of the entries start with a special character. Pages with @ are intro pages and links to them will be set in bold face. Pages with ~ are administrative or help pages, links to them will be set in italic.
- Please note the link TextEditReference on the right of this page which explains all text and page formatting features.
- This wiki does not have a powerful archiving system and it is not or not easy to roll back to earlier versions. So please be respect existing content, be careful about changes and think twice about deletions.
- This wiki also does not have a discussion page for the entries. Either use the bottom of the pages for short discussions or discuss terms in this forum thread.
