I'm not entirely sure, but I think it remains in the Outbox until the recipient actually opened it (and until then you can still edit or delete it).

All phpbb forums I know work in the manner you described it above.

@ Sylvii: you can test all PM features by sending PMs to your own account Very Happy . So you can test what happens in the different boxes, by editing when the message is still in the outbox and when exactly the little symbol at the left side changes the color from yellow to white.

Another interesting thing is (as far as I know - I haven´t tested it at this forum) when the recipient deletes the PN unopened then the message dissapears from the senders sentbox.

Markus, can you tell me if the 'clean' skin is all funtioning properly? First, it shows me logged in even after I log out….(no, I don't have automatic log in)….shows up on the 'default' skin you use for site.

Then, I tried to post about problem and it wouldn't add post.

Then, I tried to send private message and that didn't work either.

Should I just 'give it up'? devil2

I'll check that tomorrow … been playing with the chat at the moment. Smile

roflmao ….site just now registered 32 guests….but, in actuality, it looks I'm the only one in here.

Ok, 4 min. later and now it's 8 guests……I don't think so…. Grinning

heheh…that goes sort of haywire like those 'thousands' of views over in mini-blogs. Grinning

Ok, now it's 2a.m. and finally, 'o' guests…..so, the point of all of this is don't believe what you see about most online was 36.

…and, one more thing I just realized. All the glitching may be due to the fact that I'm back to using 'clean' skin….it's the only one where I can get enough contrast between text and background to be able to read clearly.

Why do I think it's this skin? because it did all that other weird stuff also about leaving me logged in when I wasn't even here.

Anyway, Markus, I'm just rambling this p.m…..thought you might be curious about the '36'. Grinning

Well, I'll check the referring logs tomorrow (they take 24hours to appear in the stats), will then see if they were true visitors … maybe we were mentioned on the front page of the New York Times Wink

Regarding that skin, I haven't tested it yet, but Sue recently mentioned that the login part at the bottom of the page may not be working correctly. Or if you still have that login problem, you may want to try to delete the browser cookies for blueflash.cc

Yeah, it was probably that 'log in' at bottom of page….most of the time, I was using 'log in' at top.

Anyway, for the moment, I'm using different skin…for about 5 min. anyway. Grinning

hehehe….wouldn't that be cool if site had been in New York Times? thumb

Technically there should be no functional difference with the skins … please just have an eye on it, maybe it's something else.

NYT would be cool … but I guess Elias is not THAT mainstream yet (if it ever will).

Filed at 11:13 a.m. ET

President Bush this morning in a press conference revealed
that he has been participating in the Elias online discussion forum
“BlueFlash” ( http://www.blueflash.cc/forum/ )

The President has been participating there under the screen name
“Goldenboy”. “Condi and I love to chat there”, said Bush.

Condoleezza Rice is also a particpant there. “I couldn’t believe it when
Babs showed us the forum”
, said Rice who goes by the online name
“catherine”. Rice indicated the Presdient’s mother Barabra was the one
who introduced them to the site, she has been an active member there
posting under the screen name “sylvii”.

Bush related how he had widened his awareness through simple exercises
such as giving himself a stick-on tattoo every time he noticed and interrupted
the energy of his terrorist aspects.

"I realized that Saddam and I had counterpart action going on. Turns out
we had shared a focus as lesbian lovers in the south of France in the 1800s.
Saddie had rejected me - and at times the sting is still great."
