Markus, is your server still being 'worked on'? are they still trying to get 'kinks' out?
The page for posting replies sometimes takes over a minute and sometimes it never completely 'opens'…gets half-way and doesn't go any further. I have to click the 'stop' button so as to move on.
Anyway….just thought I would note that.
In trying to post this, I got the 'page cannot be displayed' (or something like that). So, I'll keep trying.
Ok, what I noticed was it gets down to '1 item' left to download and it sort of stops….end of line says "spacer" but I don't know if that is significant or not. Whatever it is, it doesn't want to download very easily.

Dunno, maybe they're still moving their servers. Let's just see if it get's better over the next few days.

Btw, since you mentioned posting. I usually take hiccups in posting as a sign to reevaluate what I was going to say. Goes up to the point that sometimes (it happens quite rarely, so it catches my attention) I let the post go and don't make it.

Yep! I know that one also. In fact, it's usually first thing that comes to mind before 'thinking' kicks in about server, computers, etc., When it happens repeatedly (like today), and I end up asking about it, my 'thinking process' has taken over completely.
If I 'lose' a reply while typing it up, I always just let it go…that's a sure sign it wasn't it's 'time'.

Got a question: Can you alter the data entry fields on the profiles - meaning can you add additional questions? Was wondering if people could enter their families / focus type / orientation type stuff there - then it would be one stop shopping for all involved as that stuff is sort of scattered about in 12000+ post currently.

The forum doesn't come with such a function (as the standard package), but I could probably hack something. Maybe reusing one of the existing lesser used fields like occupation or interestst and displaying them as Elias stats or something like that.
I'll see if there's an easy way to do that.

or, I've discovered if a page won't fully open (again, not downloading all items), then I click 'stop'…it gives me blank page…I click back and then re-click where I want to go.
Maybe it's smoothing out now?

Hi Sylvii, I sometimes have the same problems. I'm using FireFox and I think it has something to do with that. cause when I browse BlueFlash with the InternetExplorer, it works
So when I don't get a connection with FireFox I just close all FireFox-tasks and start a new one. till now it helps

Anyway, at the moment it seems ok. Each time the glitches have started, it's been early afternoon here….not sure what that is in your time zone.
that's the odd thing about it… when I don't get any data from BlueFlash, I can still browse any other site with my FireFox
