Exploring The Shift
The shift is not a thing. It is the action of discovering Self.

A user on our forum posted a snippet from an Elias Session today where Elias says that visuals are the most powerful sense to create perception. Just a few minutes later I generated a nice synch by finding an animation video on haha.nu which fits the topic on multiple levels.

I'm a great fan of animation movies so this gives me a great excuse to post it here (not that I need any) together with the opportunity to create some insight, especially because the movie is quite powerful (according to haha.nu it was nominated for the Oscar in 2002).

What occurred to me was that there was a noticeable change in mood before (point A) and afterwards (point B). I just noticed that when the video was finished and probably only because I still had that post lingering in my mind.

I was not interrupted while showing it, so the only difference between A and B were the visuals (plus a bit of audio, but I guess the result would have been more or less the same with your sound turned off) which happend during that time.

This may sound quite trite, but given the fact that you can excert choice on what you watch or not, I find this a powerful example of what princegom posted there on the forum and how easy and yet how influencing it is, to choose what is visually observed.

Besides that I found it quite nice, that really the next thing which I created after reading that forum post was a movie which was centered around a powerful visual metaphor (in the animation just the visuals on a tv screen would make the distinction between where the soldier ended up).
