Exploring The Shift
The shift is not a thing. It is the action of discovering Self.

I just found this animation called Kiwi today and it left me quite thoughtful. Although the animation itself is technically not too thrilling (it appears to be a project from a computer art school), I like the idea and story and I'm sure it's a nice metaphor for something, it's just that I can't come up with a good one at the moment.

 
After watching the video I found two lighter (less thoughtful) ones, which are amazing and funny instead. One is about a penguin who lives as a pet in Japan and who goes shopping (no kidding): Shopping Penguin

The other is an excellent short animation movie by Dreamworks, featuring the real stars from the movie Madagascar, that is featuring the four penguins (in a way these penguins are to Madagascar what Scrat is to Ice Age): The Madagascar Penguins
