Exploring The Shift
The shift is not a thing. It is the action of discovering Self.

Here's a snippet from a forum thread where Marina was asking about a situation where she felt like apologizing and where she afterwards was wondering what apologizing means in the light of YCYOR and if it included a discounting energy.

I've thought about this a bit since I've read it. I think there are two sides of the medal (at least *Smile*).

One is, if it feels better, then it is better. It may depend on where you're coming from, in the sense of Abe's emotional scale, but if it's the easiest way to bridge a gap, it's most likely good.

Two is, that I think there is indeed discounting in it. I can't explain it but normally I'm veeeery reluctant to say sorry (except in small everday situations like stepping on someone's toe etc.) and I never expect it from others.
